Bourbon Whiskey

A spirit whose story has the humblest of beginnings, bourbon whiskey was once a working-class staple that, today, is one of high society's favorite drinking liquors. Composed of at least 51% corn (or maize) in the mashbill, bourbon whiskey is typified by a smoother, more subtle yet altogether full-bodied, and flavorsome profile when compared to other drinking whiskeys. Though it can come from a variety of states and distilleries, bourbon whiskey is synonymous with Kentucky whiskey and Tennessee whiskey, which are almost exclusive producers of bourbon.
